Five questions for Dr Heinz Höfling

Which areas do you mainly work in?

My areas of focus are tax advice, especially in tax structures, in corporate legal consulting and succession consulting. In addition, I have years of expertise in assisting medium-sized family companies with a focus on breweries and the beverage industry as well as on property companies.

What problems do you solve for your clients?

I develop concepts and prepare solution approaches for clients in the brewery and beverage industries to overcome current and future problems, and to solve them.

What has been your career path?

I am a lawyer and tax consultant, and have been a partner at Linn Goppold since 1993.

From 1981 to 1992, I was an employee, then a partner at Linn Goppold and Partner, which was brought into Linn Goppold Treuhand GmbH in 2004.

I concluded my studies in law at the University of Würzburg in 1976 with two state exams and graduation. Subsequently, I was a civil servant and area manager at the Bavarian Tax Administration until1979. I was then employed by Landestreuhand Weihenstephan.

As a lawyer and tax consultant, I've been working in the firm from the beginning with breweries and companies in the beverage industry in the areas of tax, commercial and corporate law. I lead the long tradition of the company’s skill in this industry.
