Five questions for Stefan Leitner

Which areas do you mainly work in?

Financial accounting and the preparation of annual financial statements as well as business and pri-vate tax returns are my main day-to-day tasks.

What problems do you solve for your clients?

I perform an objective review and examination of all business transactions and prepare and submit various tax declarations as well as the annual financial statements and tax returns to the respective tax authorities in a timely manner. I also correspond with the tax authorities regarding the exten-sion of deadlines, abatement and reduction applications, questions about submitted annual finan-cial statements and tax returns, and appeals.

What has been your career path?

Since completing my education as an assistant tax consultant in 2002, I have been working in payroll and financial accounting as well as financial statement preparation at various midsize tax consulting and auditing firms. In 2013, I successfully completed further training as an accountant. I have been working for Linn Goppold as a senior accounting since January 2025.

What motivates you in your everyday work?

Finding appropriate solutions to various problems and implementing them for the benefit of our clients.
