Five questions for Eva Herder

Which areas do you mainly work in?

I work in tax consulting and auditing, with a special focus on the area of corporate valuations, succession structures and business consulting. I’ve been assisting companies in the brewery and beverage industries as well as property companies for many years.

What problems do you solve for your clients?

I support my clients through business analyses (make-or-buy, amortisation calculations and financial planning) for strategic decisions. To create tax-optimised succession plans, I assist them in a number of areas, including tax advice, corporate valuations and in general in succession planning. I consult with my clients in an active, reliable and efficient manner.

What has been your career path?

After doing business studies at the University of Bayreuth, I worked for five years with a medium-sized production company (about 700 employees) as the director of accounting and controlling. Then I moved to tax consulting services, and have worked at HLB Linn Goppold since 2002 as an audit director, tax consultant and manager.

What motivates you in your everyday work?

I am particularly motivated by the enjoyment of joint success and long-term collaboration with clients.
